All aids, themselves made fairer by their place,The Wild Boar and the FoxCHAPTER 17
SOME THIEVES broke into a house and found nothing but a Cock, whom they stole, and got off as fast as they could. Upon arriving at home they prepared to kill the Cock, who thus pleaded for his life: "Pray spare me; I am very serviceable to men. I wake them up in the night to their work." "That is the very reason why we must the more kill you," they replied; "for when you wake your neighbors, you entirely put an end to our business."

Today Amazon has wowed us with an amazing deal spanning over the next five weeks leading up to EGX – can you believe it's that time of year again?

Until EGX is so close we can taste it, Amazon will be giving away 10 pairs of tickets each week to celebrate their new partnership with one of the UK's biggest gaming events – that's one for you and one for a guest of your choosing.

Entrants must be 18 years-old or older and the lucky winners will be selected each Monday leading up to the 5th. If you'd like a chance to win, check out the full details here.

This is a bit of a weird one, so bear with me. Remember Driver, the sort-of open world crime driving sim that saw you skidding around cities, avoiding the cops, and generally being an irresponsible citizen?

Well Ubisoft has just soft launched a new entry in the series in New Zealand and Australia. Except this time you're not driving a car. You're driving a boat. So more Boater than Driver I guess.

The game is called Driver Speedboat Paradise, and rather than piloting your boat around open cities, you're basically involved in races.

Occasionally you need to burst through police lines using a nitro boost though, so there's that.

There are a variety of races and time trials to sail through in the single player campaign mode, and it looks pretty nice I guess.

For some reason all I can think about is the Hulk Hogan-fronted TV show Thunder in Paradise. That also had boats in it and didn't really make any sense.

If you're interested in giving the game a go you can grab it right now for nothing if you live in Australia or New Zealand. We'll let you know when it goes live in the rest of the world as well.
TouchArcade

SPHAZE is an upcoming puzzle game from developer SUBPIXELS, who you may know from their previous match-three game Zombiebucket. SPHAZE meanwhile, will be a maze based puzzler and it is set to release for both iOS and Android on July 2nd.

The developer describes the game as being a blend of the puzzles you'd find in a game like Cut the Rope but with the presentation of something like Monument Valley. Two titans of the mobile gaming industry to draw inspiration from that's for sure. While we can't yet comment on the gameplay, it certainly does look very pretty.

The environments are designed to look like locations from the real world whilst also adding both fantasy and sci-fi elements. It definitely an art style that would grab your attention whilst scrolling through the new releases section on the App Store, but as always, looks aren't everything, so what does the gameplay offer?

The aim of the SPHAZE is to manipulate the various mazes you'll come across so that a bunch of robots can make their way through them. The controls will apparently be easy to use, requiring players to twist and drag their way through each new conundrum they're faced with.

There is also an element of exploration to SPHAZE as you pass through the various locales. Your puzzle-based journey will take you through lava-filled volcanoes, rocky valleys, idyllic lakes and colder looking metallic areas. Whether or not there's a story that ties this altogether remains to be seen.

SPHAZE is available for pre-order now over on the App Store and Google Play ahead of its release on 2nd July. It will be a premium game that will cost $4.99.
On the hunt for more puzzle games to tease your brain with? Here are 25 of the best available on iPhone and iPad

PewDiePie's gross-out dungeon crawler, Poopdie, has finally launched for iOS after Apple rejected it earlier this month for featuring "crude imagery and sound effect [sic] which may disgust users", according to developer Bulbware.

The initial ruling caused a small internet uproar among PewDiePie fans, who have been waiting to play Poopdie for years now. The game appears to take plenty of inspiration from Ed McMillen's classic roguelike, The Binding of Isaac. While it might be similarly gross, Poopdie does seem to be a lot more lighthearted, with a big focus on scatological humour.
Download Poopdie by PewDiePie and Bulbware today (it's free - and that's a great price)! Poopdie, a small worm-like creature, is seemingly one of the few who still has the ability to do both, much to the disgust of his aggressive neighbours.

Combat sees you relying on Poopdie's "poopcrafting" skills to mix together different foods, poop them out, then have them function as specific unit types. It's all very silly and (hopefully) fun.

Ex-Ed Ric previewed it late last year, saying that "Poopdie is a solid dungeon crawler with an aesthetic to design a very particular audience. And that audience, based on the laughter booming through the booth as the story was explained to passers-by, will absolutely love it."

After Pokemon GO Fest Chicago came and went this weekend, everyone's hard work paid off as the first couple of Legendary Pokemon are now available to discover, battle, and catch.
