"So Gilbert didn't go back on you after all," said Mrs. Harmon Andrews, contriving to convey an expression of surprise in her tone. "Well, the Blythes generally keep their word when they've once passed it, no matter what happens. Let me see--you're twenty-five, aren't you, Anne? When I was a girl twenty-five was the first corner. But you look quite young. Red-headed people always do."
It’s been about two good years since we’ve heard anything about the upcoming Final Fantasy XI mobile remake, but apparently there’s still life in the project, as job listings for the game feature new screenshots of the game.

Redditors tracked down recent job posting for Nexon’s Final Fantasy XI project on the company’s careers site. While the job listings were posted in January 2018, folks on Reddit quickly noticed that the images on the page were actually added in at the end of April. All signs point to this project still being very much alive.

We still don’t know a whole lot about what this reboot will entail. We learned way back in 2015 that Final Fantasy XI for mobile will be running on Unreal Engine 4, and includes UI improvements and other enhanced features.

Final Fantasy XI has been quietly chugging along since 2002, and it’s one of the few classic MMORPGs that’s held onto its subscription model. The game is well known for its daunting difficulty, but it has maintained a tight knit community, possibly as a result of the game’s tough nature.

Nexon could be a good match for the game, as they have a pedigree of fine mobile games including Dynasty Warriors: Unleashed and Battlejack. Here’s hoping Nexon’s recruitment efforts are a sign of more things to come for Final Fantasy XI mobile.
Source: Gematsu

Updated 28th July 09:45 AM: BaliFied is now out on iTunes worldwide. Sadly Android users will have to wait until early 2017.
Pick up your copy of BaliFied here for absolutely nothing and get playing on your iPhone or iPad!

Puzzlers are hardly on short hand, but word-based puzzlers are a little trickier to get right without sounding patronising, overly complicated, or boring. BaliFied – Word Game of the Gods, however, seems to have an interesting take on an old classic.

From Bali-based Dragon Game Studio, BaliFied is an all-new social word game that allows you to play with people all across the globe and mixes words with card-game strategy. It sounds complicated, but it's quite simple.

Like Scrabble mixed with Solitaire, you have to create a word by stacking your cards one on top of the other. Each card represents a certain number of points and collectively the points are all added up at the end of each turn.

It's your job to create the biggest word you can to get the most points (oh, let's throw a bit of Countdown in there then). On top of the cards in your hand you can also get cards that give you special abilities, such as the Bali Card – a card that equates to 5 points and can be used as any letter.

BaliFied is set to drop this Thursday 28th July on the App Store. An Android release is set for late 2016/early 2017. We'll let you know the moment it becomes available.

Psychoz Interactive has told us that a "Director's Cut" version of its Bronze Award-winning horror adventure Forgotten Memories is on its way.

It'll be coming to PS Vita, PS3, and PS4 in early 2016.

An iOS version of the Director's Cut will come afterwards. But note that it won't replace Forgotten Memories: Alternate Realities on the App Store - it'll be a separate download.

However, the Director's Cut will only be available for higher-end iOS devices.

The reason for that restriction being that the Director's Cut will have improved graphics the older devices won't be able to support.

It'll also have improved AI, combat, controls, mechanics, UI, with new areas, interactions, boss battles, and CGs added too.

"We've also fixed remaining English localization issues and the game is now localized in all major languages including French, Spanish, German, Chinese and Japanese," Psychoz tells us.
Halloween sale
That's not all the news Psychoz had for us today. Forgotten Memories: Alternate Realities is also on sale for Halloween.

Today (October 29th), you can pick it up for the sale price of 79p / 99c.

But that price is only for today as each day will see another dollar added to that sale price until it returns to the full price of £4.49 / $5.99 once again.

So if you want to get it at its cheapest grab it today over on the App Store.

Grand Mountain Adventure has been available for Android since April this year and it has proven to be a popular title since then. Now iOS players will be able to slalom down its various ski slopes. But that won't be all as the arrival of Grand Mountain Adventure on iOS will also bring snowboarding to the game for the first time.

Snowboarding will be available for both platforms too, being available as an update for Android users whilst it will coincide with the launch of the iOS version. Alongside an entirely new Winter sport, three new mountains will also be added to the game. These will be larger than those already in the game, whilst existing mountains have also been improved.

Updated 5th August, 09:07 AM: Tidy Monsters is now out on the App Store totally free.
Available on iPhone and iPad, check out how fast you can tidy away the mess Whimsy Maple makes.

Throw Monsters Inc. together with some creatures with serious OCD and you get Tidy Monsters, a new iOS game coming to the App Store next week.

As it says in the title, Tidy Monsters follows the story of Whimsy Maple, a five year-old girl living in Westminster who hates tidying her room. So rather than scaring her out of her wits, the in-house monsters Pickles and Eric are there to help her tidy up.

The idea is to swipe, sort, and stack the toys into the appropriate boxes to progress to higher levels, and avoid sorting the mischievous (and seriously adorable) spiders into the tubs as well.
Tidy Monsters is set for release on August 5th, but we'll let you know the moment this free game drops on iTunes.
"So Miss Russell's little white house is YOUR house of dreams," said Leslie wonderingly. "_I_ had a house of dreams once--but it was a palace," she added, with a laugh, the sweetness of which was marred by a little note of derision.
"But you are going to wear a veil, aren't you?" asked Diana, anxiously. And credent soul to that strong-bonded oath,
"Oh, will it NEVER end?" said Marilla; then she saw how grave the nurse and Doctor Dave looked, and she dared ask no more questions. Suppose Anne--but Marilla could not suppose it.
