Exciting news today as Feral Interactive releases its first trailer for ROME: Total War - Barbarian Invasion, coming soon to iPad.

MegaCrit's iOS and Android versions of Slay the Spire are among the most highly anticipated mobile ports of the year. The card-battler roguelike first launched for PC, where it went on to win the adoration of most critics and players for its smart systems and incredibly moreish gameplay.

Jon recently put out a list of Slay the Spire alternatives on mobile, but hopefully we won't have too long to wait to play the real thing. Over on Twitter, MegaCrit replied to an impatient fan's joke tweet asking for the game to be "fast tracked" with, "Solely in our publisher's hands at this point. Just waiting for it to go through the QA pass".
Solely in our publishers hands at this point. Just waiting for it to go through the QA pass.— MegaCrit (@MegaCrit) January 10, 2020The tweet was first spotted by Reddit user u/paxxlaws, who shared it over on the Slay the Spire subreddit.

Before you get too excited, it's important to remember that the final QA process can take a fair while. Yes, it's probably safe to assume we'll see Slay the Spire on mobile before the year is out, but it's likely at least several months away. This is all purely speculation based on similar cases in the past.

"You'll be famous yet, Paul. I always dreamed of having one famous pupil. He was to be a college president--but a great poet would be even better. Some day I'll be able to boast that I whipped the distinguished Paul Irving. But then I never did whip you, did I, Paul? What an opportunity lost! I think I kept you in at recess, however."Hacker hero

Yet another interesting and exciting game is on its way to the Switch, and this time things are a little shady... because there are... puppets... in Projection: First Light.

There's another action-RPG coming to iOS and Android that features Marvel's line up of superheroes and villains. Because of course there is.

We don't know much about Netmarble's Marvel Future Fight right now but it's enough to, well, let you know it will be out on April 30th.

For starters, it'll feature 36 playable super-powered characters from the Marvel universe. We're told that includes the Avengers, Spider-Man, Daredevil, and the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Your task will be to take on baddies such as Loki, Doctor Octopus, and Ultron in stage-based battles. These battles come in PvP and PvE servings, you know, just in case you fancy hitting other players instead of just AI.

There's also a proper campaign to go on that's been written by Marvel writer Peter David. It'll also give you a chance to level up your characters.

That's all we know about it for now. We'll probably have more to tell you about it nearer its launch.

Thursday's ringing in and while it may be grey and a little bit drizzly, it's still the best darn day of the week.

Why? Because of all of the new games, of course! While there may not be thousands to get through we like what we see so far and can't wait to dive in.
