1、
Square Enix announced today that it has seen a 49 percent rise in profit in the year ending March 31st 2015 compared to the previous fiscal year.

The company noted that while it released fewer console titles in the past year it has seen stronger successes in smartphone games and MMOs.

Specifically, on the mobile game side, it picked out Dragon Quest Monsters Super Light, Schoolgirl Strikers, Final Fantasy Record Keeper, Kai-ri-Sei Million Arthur as its strongest performers.

If you're curious, on the MMO side, it was Final Fantasy XIV and Dragon Quest X that were mentioned for "making favorable progress."

Also in its report, Square Enix said that "smart devices such as smartphones and tablet PCs are spreading rapidly, while the console game markets in North America and Europe are increasingly competitive and oligopolistic."

"In light of such environmental changes," the report continued, "the Group is focusing all efforts on a substantial earnings improvement through driving reforms of business structure in order to establish new revenue base."

What this means is that you can expect to see plenty more mobile games from Square Enix in the future.

Hopefully that means games such as Kingdom Hearts X[chi], which we found out is heading to iOS and Android in Japan, will make their way west too.

-
It's been a week of surprises on mobile - first Dragalia Lost dropped in the UK, Ireland and a handful of other places, then we had Skylanders: Ring of Heroes appear out of nowhere later in the week. Madness!

Indeed, it's that time of the week where we look at what's coming out on iOS and Android, sifting through the masses of games to find the true gems that need your attention - or your downloads, at least.

We'll cover as much as we can, but this is by no means a comprehensive list. Instead, we want to pick out games we know you'll love, or at least the ones that are big and important, alongside a few of the smaller games you may not have seen yet.

And we'll try to hit as many genres as we can, so there should be something here for everyone. But don't get mad if there's nothing you like! We are at the whims of the platform holders and developers just like you.

So, grab yourself a cuppa, get your mobile gaming device, and let's dig in and see what new games you can get for yourself this week. You never know, your next favourite game of all time may be hiding in amongst our list. And be sure to comment if you find someone which you do decide to pick up - we'd love to hear what's taken your fancy this week.Dragalia Lost

Available on: Android/iOSPrice: Free

App Store Description: "¦ An action RPG forged by humans and dragonsDragalia Lost is a swipe-controlled action RPG about the bonds shared between humans and dragons. -
I know, I know, you should come to expect that whenever one of these pieces go up it's usually to tell you how fast stuff has sold out, but here we go again. The SNES Classic may have had another round of pre-orders go up overnight in the US but they didn't last long.

After first going live in the US earlier this month, Best Buy opened up their pre-orders for the night-owls of the east coast and within about half an hour the thing was totally gone.

No doubt Amazon and eBay will blow up with the consoles at insanely inflated prices come launch day (September 29th).

Also, currently on Best Buy's website the 'Pre-Order' button is still highlighted for whatever reason, however this leads to a dead end so don't get your hopes up. You'll just have to forgo sleep the next time you hear whispers on the wind.
