Two years after its initial release Ticket to Earth has received its final episode in a free update to the game. So if you've been holding off because, like me, you like something to be finished before you jump in, then there's no need to worry anymore. The fourth and final chapter of the puzzle RPG is available now for iOS and Android.

The game originally launched in 2017 and has since released a further two episodes before the final one arrived today. That means if you pick Ticket to Earth up now there'll be plenty of content to keep yourself occupied with over 120 missions to beat.

Ticket to Earth tells the story of Rose as she teams up with a few other unlikely heroes to do battle with various mutants. They'll also have a corrupt government to deal with too so life certainly isn't easy in the future, even after gaining the ability to travel through space.

It feels like a Nintendo Switch-heavy news day, but there's a lot to talk about. Like the fact that 2Awesome Studio will be bringing The Bug Butcher to Switch later this summer - that's pretty good news, eh?

"You were right not to go in, though, Mistress Blythe. Leslie wouldn't have liked it. She wouldn't have liked me going in with Dick, as I'd have done if I hadn't met you. I had Dick down with me all day. I keep him with me as much as I can to help Leslie a bit."She was new lodged and newly deified.
Of paled pearls and rubies red as blood;MARVEL Duel
HeatPot Games released its tile-matching JRPG Hero Emblems on iOS yesterday.

I've been playing it a little, enjoying the challenging turn-based battle system, and the comical interactions between the four main characters.

It has you controlling the Princess's guard after she has been kidnapped, and the King is found in a deathly state.

You have to go on a quest across the game's adventure map, battling monsters in dungeons, wilderness, caves, and the ocean. There are bosses to take on as well, eventually leading up to the source of all the recent mishaps, the God of Evil.

The core of the game is its turn-based, tile-matching battle system. You have four heroes, each of which have a specific role: the fighter deals damage, the knight defends with his shield, the healer replenishes HP, and the witch casts magic spells.

Each hero is represented by an emblem on the grid of tiles. You have to match three of the same emblems to make the hero they're connected to perform an action.

I know it says final entries on the 15th, but you've got 'til the end of today to sign up for it, so what're you waiting for?

It's award season, apparently, as both the International Mobile Gaming Awards and the Game Developers Choice Awards were held this week.

They both took place in San Francisco too.
Professor Layton and the Unwound Future has now landed on iOS and Android. This here is a HD remaster of the third entry in the original Layton trilogy, which was arguably the best of the bunch.

Its story kicks off with Layton receiving a letter from his apprentice, Luke – albeit one from ten years in the future. Turns out London is about to be thrown into chaos thanks to a wonky time machine, which explodes and seemingly gobbles up several attendees, including the Prime Minister. And so Layton and Luke once again partner up to solve the mystery and save London from a future most foul.

As I say, Unwound Future benefits from the same HD makeover that Level-5 also brought to the mobile ports of Curious Village and Diabolical box. Expect intuitive touchscreen controls and a greatly improved visual presentation.
If we had to pick just one thing we absolutely love about the Agent Action Mod Apk, it would undoubtedly have to be the retro style it’s built on. Agent Action will get you running, climbing, jumping, and reclining on the most beautiful sceneries, exotic locations, or deadly neighborhoods, and you’re going to love him for it. Nothing is out of the question, as long as you’re willing to take this agent everywhere he needs to go, so he gets to show off his coolness.

On September 18th, Scotland votes as to whether it will become an independent country.

That's all the excuse I need to pretend that there's a massive Braveheart-style rivalry happening between England and Scotland.

Why not? Let's roll out some Scottish games and have them fight against some English ones.

What'll this achieve? Well, I can call the losers harsh words like "poop heads" and shame their sense of national pride.

Yes, obviously this is a little bit of fun, and not a serious poll. So feel free to vote for the side that you think wins based on its line-up of games in the comments section, alright?

Good. Right then. First up, in the blue corner, representing Scotland, is this lot...

The Nightmare CooperativeBy Lucky Frame - Edinburgh

A superb party-based roguelike with high replay value, sumptuous art work, and a smattering of challenging interconnecting mechanics.

Impossible RoadBy Pixels On Toast - Edinburgh

Pure in look and play, Impossible Road isn't just a game; it's a habit. You attempt to roll a ball down a curving nightmare, leaping down by accident or at your own risk.

Grand Theft Auto: San AndreasBy Rockstar North - Edinburgh

With San Andreas, the GTA series became entrenched in the early '90s hip-hop scene with its usual mix of satire, explosions, stunts, and greasy food.

Tank Battle: North AfricaBy Hunted Cow Studios - Moray

Charging into battle with tanks isn't very Scottish, really. Still, this is old-school turn-based strategy about tougher times and the units that pushed through it. Grit -that's what this is.

Fist of AwesomeBy I Fight Bears - ex-Scotland / infiltrator

While developer Nicoll Hunt has moved to London, he lets none of the Scottish spirit down when making a game about beards and punching bears.

And anyway, he'd certainly vote "Yes" for Scottish independence if he could.

Right, now that Scotland has lined itself up, pumped some iron, and is ready to shove a few fists where they shouldn't belong; let's see what England has to offer...

Monument ValleyBy ustwo - London

Not the most challenging puzzler, but Monument Valley's beautiful trickery has captivated more players than most this year.

Joe DangerBy Hello Games - Guildford

Stunt bike riding made perfect for the touchscreen. It's competitive, glorious fun and easily a mobile classic. We could even square the two countries off against each other in this game.

New Star SoccerBy New Star Games - Oxford

Ah, a classic sport and arguably in its best form here for mobile. What better way to settle a dispute by setting up a Scotland vs. England match? Let's have it, then.

Icebreaker: A Viking VoyageBy Nitrome - London

Scotland may have a spirit closer to the viking's, but it didn't create the best, wittiest, and viking-based physics puzzler on mobile, did it? Nope.

The RoomBy Fireproof Games - Guildford

Now here's something that Scotland isn't known for having - sophistication. Yes, The Room's intricate puzzles take place around and inside a series of posh boxes. Fantastic and surprising.

That's that, then.

It's time for you to vote on the nation that you think deserves to win this pretend war I've constructed for my own entertainment.

Let us know which country you think has produced the best games out of this selection we've picked.

If you have any other games you think should represent either Scotland or England, well then, we want to hear them.
